The rear seal on my intake has been leaking oil for some time... thanks to PatFromJersey for helping me figure out Edelbrock intakes and valley pans are a bad mix.

Here's a couple pics of the engine with the intake off. You can see where the oil had been pooling up at the back.




Here's a pic of the bottom of the intake... I think there may have been more than just oil leaks now. There's some stuff on there that looks like corosion or crud or something... but it's something else. It's soft and feels like some kind of jelly


unfortunately I'm limited to working in the daylight. Should be able to get it together tomorrow. I hope this fixes it.... if it doesn't it might mean my intake is warped in some way.

Check it with a straight edge and feeler gage. Every where.
