I pulled one for a "spare" to take apart and all that good stuff, and to get some reference pics for future prophecies:
After looking at this I realized how frighteningly simple CFI is...
fuel inlet/outlet - injectors - wiring for injectors - two idle-adjusting devices - fuel pressure regulator - TPS - and throttle levers/buttlerfly.
That it! The rest is a hunk of metal. The spacer under it holds the EGR valve.
Seem less complex than a carb to me
and less complex than MPFI
