Obviously you're not going to get a DVD in-car player for $100...you can barely get a decent CD player for that price.

As for fitting many albums on a disc, you can do that with an mp3 CD already...DVD is like...overkill.

Actually i'm waiting for a reasonable 80 gig player...that should take most of my music (~60 gigs) and leave some spare room.

Ipod + docking station. Creative sells a cheaper version of the same thing.

Yeah, if a DVD-MP3 setup is overkill, then so is an iPod. Maybe an iPod or some other small solution like that would be better. I know a guy who has all of his cars set up with an iPod hookup so all his albums go with him wherever he goes.

an iPod is more logical because you can listen it at home, work, crawling under a crown vic, etc...

I just want to put all my mp3's on 1 disc so I don't have to hear same tracks everytime I start my car :-) I would like to be able to select a folder "SLOW SONGS" and another "ROCK" or something like that without changing the disk.

That's why I'm doing the mp3 player project for my box!! Look at my car domain thing, I think it's the fourth page.

I think this is the right URL.... www.cardomain.com/id/nitronicthbb
