Should it have a bad tailgate, have a fun time trying to find one. My friend was gonna get one but it had no tailgate at all... decided not to get it because of it. Then again, he probably gave up too easy.

you all realize that the broncos verried greatly in drivetrain options, right? One with a 302 and AOD can knock down 19 MPG any day of the week, but go find one with a 351 and a C-6 and you're looking at about 8 city/13 highway. find one with a 300 I-6 and 5 speed, then you're talking 21 highway! but good luch finding one.

I also was leary about getting a bronco with a bad tailgate. But, because it is such a problem, the aftermarket is full of tailgates. I was litterally tripping over them on the internet. I even found a place that made fiberglass ones. So, don't worry about that. You can pretty much get any repair parts for the rust on Broncos.

being an F-Series guy myself (currently own a '95, previously owned an '86) i must say it will be the wisest choice you'll make. there is a LARGE afermarket support for these trucks and believe me, if you look hard enough, you'll find everey piece you'll ever need.

the only defects for these trucks were the tank selector vales, but this of course only applied to the F & E series made before 1990 with dual tanks, and of course the bronco is a single-tank.

you wont regret that move, guaranteed.

my '95 right now is getting a healty 19 city, 24 highway.

tanke into consideration all the drivetrain options, like mine for instance: 4.9L inline six-cylinder mated to a wide-ratio 4-speed auto.

In High School I had a friend whos parents owned a Ford Bronco that was identical to OJ Simpson's Bronco, inside and out. The license plate was ISNOTOJ.

I liked it a lot, it was a great vehicle!
