This is not the case on any of the spots I've dealt with. Perhaps that's something on the factory installed spotlights?

The spots I've seen for Crown Vics have a brass fitting on the inside half of the sleeve. This brass fitting is slightly larger than the hole that is supposed to be drilled and has flats on it that mate with a socket on the inside of the bracket that screws into the inside of the A-pillar. When the braket is installed over this fitting, it locks it against the pillar so that the sleeve will not travel in or out, and also prevents the sleeve from rotating due to the flats on the brass fitting.

the nearest napa is out of state in NJ i live in NY, so thats out of the question anyone know where i can get this bracket at online, most of you seem to know what im looking for, JBweld is a last resort thing id like to get it installed right
