Here are a couple of mine, these pics were taken in the 1980s and early 90's
The first is a 1954 Mainline, that I purchased from a scrapyard for 225 bux. It was a Mainline but it had the optional 239 OHV V8, and the "Fordomatic" 2 speed trans. It had 90k on the odometer, I am pretty sure it was original but sat somewhere so long that the interior and floor pans were completely gone, but the frame was ok. Also the front crossmember was rusted out.
It took me a week to get it running, and the crossmember replaced. In this pic, it is the first time I was able to actually drive it. You can see the replaced crossmember under the radiator. I did the floors, body work, painted it black. I slapped together the interior using foam padding and seat covers, and threw a glasspac on the exhaust.
A true rat rod...I used this as a daily driver for six years and even used it a couple of times to deliver pizza! Before:
Here is another rat rod, 1954 Customline, 239 Y block, 3 speed on the floor, bought it and sold it a month later.
Here is one my wife loved, it is a 52 Customline coupe, with the 239 flathead and Fordomatic. I replaced a couple of rockers and matched up the paint. Ran beautiful.
I also have owned a 1956 Ford Parklane wagon, (Ford's answer to the Chevy Nomad)
I also have owned a 1966 Mustang with the 289 and 3 on the floor, a 95 Mustang GT with the 5.0 and five speed and a 96 GT 4.6, with automatic, and many other non Fords.
