Very nice Model A. My father had a 1929 Ford Model A coupe that his parents bought in 1930. When he passed, I sold it to a family friend. My father had 13 cars from 1963 back to the 29 A. I have kept his first car, a 1936 Ford 5 window coupe that he bought in California in 1960. It is original and now that I have spent a lot of time on it the original flathead runs. I will have to post some pictures.

Here are a couple of mine, these pics were taken in the 1980s and early 90's

The first is a 1954 Mainline, that I purchased from a scrapyard for 225 bux. It was a Mainline but it had the optional 239 OHV V8, and the "Fordomatic" 2 speed trans. It had 90k on the odometer, I am pretty sure it was original but sat somewhere so long that the interior and floor pans were completely gone, but the frame was ok. Also the front crossmember was rusted out.

It took me a week to get it running, and the crossmember replaced. In this pic, it is the first time I was able to actually drive it. You can see the replaced crossmember under the radiator. I did the floors, body work, painted it black. I slapped together the interior using foam padding and seat covers, and threw a glasspac on the exhaust.

A true rat rod...I used this as a daily driver for six years and even used it a couple of times to deliver pizza! Before:

After:

Here is another rat rod, 1954 Customline, 239 Y block, 3 speed on the floor, bought it and sold it a month later.

Here is one my wife loved, it is a 52 Customline coupe, with the 239 flathead and Fordomatic. I replaced a couple of rockers and matched up the paint. Ran beautiful.

I also have owned a 1956 Ford Parklane wagon, (Ford's answer to the Chevy Nomad)

I also have owned a 1966 Mustang with the 289 and 3 on the floor, a 95 Mustang GT with the 5.0 and five speed and a 96 GT 4.6, with automatic, and many other non Fords.

This is my Granfather's 1953 C750 semi. Ain't she a beauty!

My Grandfather bought this truck back before I was born and restored her to a factory semi setup. When he bought it it had a horse trailer, which he took off to shorten the frame for the semi set up. The powertrain is stock with the original flathead motor with a 10 speed. [5 speed tranny with a 2 speed auxilary]

This is his real pride and joy restoration. As he has bought and sold other projects, but this is the one he has kept through the years. I only hope that he will get the chance to teach me how to drive it, as I want it to stay in the family.

Thanks, I'll relay that message to him...

And I too love old semi trucks. When I get the money I'm going to buy a Ford CL9000 cabover (like this one) and get my CDL.
