Car started hesitating at cruising speeds and my CEL came on. Went home got on the computer went to SEARCH and entered hesitating and CEL. All threads pointed to one of two things 1) Bad COP or 2) Bad DPFE/EGR. Went to Autozone to get the free code read (which I didn't know about before SEARCH) and it came up with a problem relating to the EGR. Previous poster said to check the DPFE first and wouldn't you know that that was the problem. $50 and a MAF cleaning (which was also suggested) and she runs good as new. So thanks to all that post their problems and solutions...

The purpose of this post was to thank those that take the time to describe in detail the problems they have and how to fix them, not to open an outlet for smarta$$ comments.

Good work, I was praying for a code when my 01 was bucking like a donkey but never got one. Turned out 8 new COP's made everything good.

Look, you can blame the cops for a lot of things, drugs in the neighborhood, speeders, etc. But dont you think its a little far to be blaming us for car problems too?

Geez, you'd think we were the president or something......

Clayton

PS Yes, I know what COPs are.

It's not a smart remark, just happy that you solved your problem. My apoligies, have a good day.

Only Cost $107 not worth trying to figure out which ones were bad
