I was wondering what would I have to do to remove my ac without creating a bio hazard

Once you have everything sucked out you can hack the evaporator core as much as you want. Just don't accidentally jack up the heater core.

Pulling the compressor and drier will take a half an hour. The removes the bulk of the stuff since you grab the lines with it. Book time on the evaporator is ~4 hours, so they might take you a bit longer.

ROB~~~~ why on earth would you want to remove the AC unit? It helps on the def. mode, so your windows wont fog up, and helps out with the re-sale value. Is it just low on freon??

Cut the chrome lines off. Seriously. Heater-only cars still had the blower motor... I can't imagine they created a more streamlined box in lieu of installing the evaporator!
