I remember a posting years ago where someone mentioned you could wire a resistor into the wires going to a siren speaker that would reduce the volume of the system when testing it indoors. I just got my wife a slot machine, and it's loud!!! I turned the volume all the way down and it's still loud. So I'm wondering if this same trick would work on this speaker.

Anyone know if a resistor would work, do I need one on each speaker wire, what type do I need, etc.?

Put some foam padding in front of the speaker ?? and no I'm not kidding it should work.
