hello new member looking for advise I have a 73 f100 i built last winter with a 2011 cvp71 front subframe, engine, trans, and most of the wiring harness running cv bcm and ecu with egr, evap and catylist delete. its stock parts other then long tubes cai and j mod. i want to build an engine this winter i have built many sbf and sbc but new to building a modular engine. i would like 350- 400 hp if that realistic, and i am thinking i would like to stay na. i have a complete engine from a 2006 explorer i was going to use the block from to save weight. i was thinking aftermarket heads cams and upgraded internals but unsure on the best route. this is a street truck i drive often and want it to stay streetable. any suggestions on what parts to use or steer away from would be great

Pretty much the only way I can think of you’ll hit those power numbers is a trick flow top end on a 5.4 short block.

I would like 350 rwhp, I'm not against a stroker as long as it runs pump gas. It will be a long term build as I
Just bought front coILovers and rear coilovers for it and I have a 2018 mustang irs to put in over the winter. So after that stuff it will be ready for more power.

If you use all the vic electronics Marty can remote tune these cars pretty well.

thanks after doing more research picking some professional brains, I am thinking supercharging might be the way to go. Having never done it before i was leaning away from it but bang for your buck and for my goals it seems to make sense. I am thinking the tork tech system, with an eaton. I know it wont be any cheaper when all said and done but I am limited in room in the front of the engine. I still have alot of things to look into though before i decide on a route to go. thanks for the help so far

Another route that's not as much $$$ is an STS turbo system. Look up Powernation Crown Vic Turbo. They have a pretty good video with lot's of information on parts used on their website.
I think they made 368 rwhp with only 8 psi...
