Rockers were gone, quarters had been bondo'd, trunk didn't look great, but then I got inside (which had obviously been hastily cleaned, thing must have been filthy), turned the key and- clack, clack, clack. The same BDM problem the CVLX had.

They didn't even try to drop the price at all.

Pretty much opposites, but I like them both.
Not sure if I'm ready to get back into a small car, but it is in fantastic shape, and it would make trips to the filling station less stressful. I always liked this generation of Escort, and it's been occupying more of my minds' time. Needs the radio changed, but I have 2 on hand, and some speakers, so no problems there.

OTOH, I did periodically make full use of the Vic's trunk, which of course the LTC has as well. Being an early 4.6 does concern me, it will surely develop plugged EGR passages and probably worn valve guides as well. The LTC does have all the creature comforts I like, including the compass. I'd be more tempted to modify the LTC, which is both good and bad. I already did some photoshop-experimenting with different Mustang rims.

Guess I'm sticking around for a while.

Good choice, probably my 2nd favorite LTC body lines. Boxes being number one naturally.
