I just installed a junkyard one about an hour ago - 08 ABS module into an 07. It was about as plug and play as you can get. Got it for $25 at a self service yard. FORScan reports the same part number and software version (5W73-2C219-BC, 2004-07-20), no programming was needed. Drove it a couple of miles in the rain, ABS is working reliably for the first time since I've owned the car.

Though I found it easier to unbolt the entire block and lift it a little bit to get to the bottom two screws (vs the writeup in body of knowledge saying to remove the PS reservoir). Obviously don't do this if your brake lines are crusty; my car has spent its entire life in Texas, so I've only had to deal with stuff related to our hot climate (peeling paint, crumbling split loom on wiring, etc).
