Very nice looking car. I just painted my car black and am getting the windows tinted tuesday. Oh the way people normaly add pics after the first three is to upload them to some place like photobucket then you and link them to the web page.

Thanks for the advice! I will definitely do that next time. That's a damn fine looking 97 you got there! Clean... and very low miles. Outstanding!

Very nice car!!.If I lived in California I most likely would be driving a CHP car..I generally hear nothing but good things about CHP cars..A fleet guy for the CHP told me awhile back a lot of Leos buy ex CHP cars for their kids and relatives..It looks like a police convention when they have a get together.

The ex CHP cars seem to be in better shape then the ex FHP cars.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I have to admit I have become quite a follower of this forum, and I mean that in the CULT sense of the word!

This forum helped me choose the car...though the tidbit specific to the CHP cars was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for that too!

I definitely agree that black was the way to go. A flat gun metal grey (SEM - HOTROD FLAT - check it out!) was going to be my choice had I bought an all white CVPI but I am thankful that I ended up with the black.

You all have some killer rides on here! I look forward to sharing both the improvements done to my car, as well as hearing about all the great things you all have done- and will do in the future- with your cars.
