Yes, I did paint the rims gloss black as well. I used a product called, "SprayMAX - Gloss Black trim paint." It went on easily after I sanded the rims with 400 grit paper and then cleaned with some Sprayway glass cleaner.

The finish was smooth, glossy, blended easily and dried very fast. I had all 4 rims done in about 2 hours or so.
